FIRE FIGHTING BASIC

CERTIFICATION : The above mentioned training course has taken place in accordance with Regulation VI/I of the IMO STCW/95 Convention and of STCW Code, section A-VI/I and in compliance with procedures of the M.D. 04.04.1987 / D.D.17.10.2001

DURATION: The course lasting 30 hours done in four days.

LOGISTICS: The theoretical lessons are conducted in classrooms equipped with video projectors that support educational materials, videos and slide support materials treated. The practical exercises are carried out in external divided into:

1 - Pitch where they are conducted safely shut down the small fire with extinguishers, use of hoses, flange and inclined plane with hydrocarbons.
2 - Tuga, where research is done in the dark, crossing environment with fire, and finally the test of complete shutdown of a real fire.
3 - Great Fire, a few minutes from the Training Center, a pool of 100 square meters completely burnt with diesel.

LEARNING MATERIALS : At the beginning course is provided a manual and handouts on the course. During the course uses various types of fire extinguishers, professional self, hoses and nozzles and participants are equipped with suits, shoes and helmets from Fireman.
