FIRST AID

CERTIFICATION:
Attendance certificate course, not be used for boarding. For certification you must take an exam at a clinic approved by the Ministry of Health.

DURATION:
The course lasting 8 hours.

LOGISTICS:
The theoretical lesson is done in classrooms equipped with video projectors that support educational materials, videos and slide support materials treated. The lessons are supplemented with practical exercises on dummy connected to a PC that analyzes the 'work of the course participants.

METHODOLOGY:
Referring in detail the regulatory body teachers follows a well-defined training that begins with an entrance test that helps the participant to identify the 'learning and have an objective verification of achieving the objectives of the course.

LEARNING MATERIALS:
At the beginning course is provided a manual and handouts on the course.

2) Structure of the human body and functions of the various parties.
3) the risk of poisoning and intoxication aboard ships.
4) Consideratios.
5) spinal injuries.
6) burns, burns and the effects of hot and cold.
7) fractures, dislocations and muscle injuries.
8) Medical treatment to persons rescued at sea
including frostbite and exposure to cold.
9) medical advice by radio.
10) Pharmacology.
11) Sterilization, drowning and suffocation.

REQUIREMENTS:
Admissions entry on the People of the Sea and Medical Biennale.
